Sail on Baltimore's Waterfront!

Join skipper Vanessa Cress on her Hunter 28.5, Mariposa, on Curtis Creek/Patapsco River.

Set sail through the historic heart of Baltimore’s working waterfront on a tour from Tanyard Cove to the Inner Harbor or Baltimore Peninsula. You’ll cruise past towering cement silos, coal piers, and hidden boat graveyards while hearing tidbits about the industries that built the city—and the ecological efforts reshaping its future. With bridge lifts, dockside bars, and industrial scenes along the way, it’s an unforgettable mix of grit, history, and Chesapeake charm.

Bring a drink, lunch, and snacks and dress for the weather!  Foul Weather Gear is advised, it could rain anytime.  Sailing gloves, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, clips for hats and glasses, PFD if you have one, and closed-toe shoes.

The fee for a holiday or weekend day sail is $60.  If you are a student this season and have not used your free club sail, or have a gift certificate, select the volunteer/gift certificate option when you register.
